24INSTALLATIONCheck the appliance is electrically safe and gas sound when you have finished.L1NL3L23N ac230/400 V 50 Hz6 mm² max10 mm² maxElectrical ConnectionThe cooker must be installed by a qualified electrician, inaccordance with all relevant British Standards/Codes ofPractice (in particular BS 7671), or with the relevant nationaland local regulations.Current Operated Earth Leakage BreakersThe combined use of your cooker and other domesticappliances may cause nuisance tripping, so werecommend that the cooker is protected on an individualRCD (Residual Current Device) or RCBO (Residual CurrentBreaker with Overload).IF IN DOUBT, PLEASE CONSULT A SUITABLY QUALIFIEDELECTRICIAN.Note: The cooker must be connected to the correct electricalsupply as stated on the voltage label on the cooker, througha suitable cooker control unit incorporating a double-poleswitch, having a contact separation of at least 3 mm in allpoles.nn The cooker MUST NOT be connected to an ordinarydomestic power point.Access to the mains terminal is gained by removing theelectrical terminal cover box on the back panel. Connectthe mains cable to the correct terminals for your electricalsupply type (Fig.7-11 and Fig.7-12). Check that the links arecorrectly fitted and that the terminal screws are tight.Secure the mains cable using the cable clamp.Final ChecksHotplate CheckCheck each burner in turn (refer to the ‘Hotplate Burners’section at the front of the instructions).Grill CheckTurn on the grill control and check that the grill heats up.Oven CheckTurn on the ovens. Check that the oven fans start to turn andthat the ovens start to heat up.
