123.4 SPECIAL PROCEDURES IN CASE OF PROLONGED INACTIVITYIf appliance is to be idle for any length of time (e.g. holidays or seasonal closing) it must be cleanedthoroughly leaving no trace of food or dirt.Leave lid open so that air can circulate inside pan.For added care after cleaning, protect external surfaces by applying a proprietary metal polish.Be absolutely sure to shut off all utilities (electrical power and water).Air the room appropriately.3.5 SPECIAL PROCEDURES IN CASE OF FAILURESIf appliance should not work properly during use, turn it off immediately and close or cut off allsupplies (electrical power and water).
