The documents mentioned should bekept for later use and enclosed with the power tool,should it be passed on or sold.Please also observe the relevant national industrial safetyregulations.Intended use of the power tool:Hand-held screwdriver for screwing in and unscrewingscrews and nuts in weather-protected environmentswithout water supply using the application tools andaccessories recommended by FEIN.Special safety instructions.Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, whenperforming an operation where the fastener may contacthidden wiring. Fasteners contacting a “live” wire maymake exposed metal parts of the power tool “live” andcould give the operator an electric shock.Beware of any concealed electric cables, gas or waterconduits. Check the working area before commencingwork, e.g. with a metal detector.Secure the work piece firmly. A work piece that isgripped tightly in a clamping device or vice, is moresecure than if held by hand.Hold the power tool firmly. High reaction torque canbriefly occur.Do not machine any material containing asbestos. Asbes-tos is cancerogenic.Do not rivet or screw any name-plates or signs onto thepower tool. If the insulation is damaged, protectionagainst an electric shock will be ineffective. Adhesivelabels are recommended.Do not use accessories which are not specificallydesigned and recommended by the power tool manufac-turer. Safe operation is not ensured merely because anaccessory fits your power tool.Never look or stare into the light of the power tool’s lampfrom a short distance. Never point the light of the lampinto the eyes of other persons in close vicinity. The radi-ation produced by the lamp can be harmful for the eye.Use and handling of the battery (battery pack).To avoid hazardous situations such as burns, fire, explo-sion, skin injuries, and other injuries when handling thebattery, observe the following instructions:Batteries must not be disassembled, opened or reducedin size. Do not subject batteries to mechanical impact orshock. Hazardous vapours and fluid can escape in case ofdamage and improper use of the battery. The vapours canirritate the respiratory system. Liquid ejected from thebattery may cause skin irritations or burns.When battery fluid from a damaged battery has come intocontact with objects close by, check the respective com-ponents, clean them or replace them as required.Keep the battery away from heat and fire. Do not store thebattery in direct sunlight.Do not remove the battery from its original packaginguntil it is going to be used.Before any work on the machine itself, remove the bat-tery from the power tool. If the power tool accidentallystarts, there is danger of injury.Remove the battery only when the power tool is switchedoff.Keep the battery away from children.Keep the battery clean and protect it against moistureand water. Clean contaminated battery terminals andpower tool connections with a dry, clean cloth.Use only intact original FEIN batteries that are intendedfor your power tool. When working with and chargingincorrect, damaged, repaired or reconditioned batteries,imitations or other brands, there is danger of fire and/orexplosion.Follow the safety warnings in the operating instructionsof the battery charger.Hand/arm vibrationsThe vibration emission level given in this informationsheet has been measured in accordance with a standard-ised test given in EN 60745 and may be used to compareone tool with another.
