16MULTI MASTER FMM 250 / MULTI MASTER FMM 250 QENOperation of the power tool off powergenerators.Operate the power tool only offa.c. generators with sufficient power out-put that do not have any distortion of the volt-age curve.Instructions for putting intooperation.Mounting the suction device (Figure 12).➤ Mount the suction device step by step asshown in the figures.For connection with a FEIN Dustex or a vacuumcleaner, various hose adapters are available as anaccessory.➤ To remove the suction device again,push the clamp at the mark to the rear (Fig-ure 12-8).Operating instructions.Changing the tool.For adjustment of the most convenientworking position, the application tool canbe mounted in 45° steps.MULTI MASTER FMM 250 Q (Figure 6).➤ Loosen the quick-clamping lever (1) andswivel it to the stop.➤ Pull out the fastening element (6a).➤ Clean the tool holder (8), the applicationtool and the fastening element (6a).➤ Place the application tool exactly ontothe star-shaped tool holder (8). Pay atten-tion that the application tool has a flush fit.➤ Insert the fastening element (6a) to thestop into the tool holder.➤ Swivel the quick-clamping lever (1) backuntil it engages.Protect your hand and fingers from beingbruised/crushed from the snapping backquick-clamping lever. The quick-clamping leverpivots back powerfully due to the spring force.MULTI MASTER FMM 250 (Figure 7).➤ Unscrew the clamping screw (7b).➤ Clean the tool holder (8), the applicationtool and the clamping screw (7b).➤ Place the application tool exactly ontothe star-shaped tool holder (8). Pay atten-tion that the application tool has a flush fit.➤ Tighten the clamping screw (7b) usingthe supplied Allen key (11c).Attaching/replacing the sanding sheet (Figure 9).➤ Align the sanding sheet and press it ontothe sanding plate by hand.➤ Firmly push the power tool via the sand-ing sheet onto a flat surface and brieflyswitch the power tool on. This providesfor good adhesion of the sanding sheet andprevents premature wear.The sanding sheet can be pulled off again andthen remounted offset by 120° when only onetip of the sanding sheet is worn.Securing the work piece.➤ Secure the workpiece firmly. A workpiece that is gripped tightly in a clampingdevice or vice, is more secure than if held byhand.General operating instructions.Switching ON and OFF.First check that the mains supply lead andmains plug are not damaged.Switching ON:➤ Push the switch (2) towards thefront (I).Switching OFF:➤ Push the switch (2) towards theback (0).Presetting the oscillating frequency (Figure 3).The oscillating frequency can be pre-selectedinfinitely variable.Increasing the oscillating frequency:➤ Turn thumbwheel (3) in anticlockwisedirection.Decreasing the oscillating frequency:➤ Turn thumbwheel (3) in clockwisedirection.3 41 01 078 06 0.book Seite 16 Montag, 9.
