YOUR TOUCH CONTROL PANELThe Touch Control Panel allows you to set the oven controls withthe touch of a finger. It’s designed to be easy to use and understand.1. DISPLAY. Displays time of day, time ortemperature during cooking functions, power levelbeing used, cooking mode and instructions.2. BEVERAGE. Touch this pad to heat or reheat abeverage. No need to touch START, the oven willstart immediately.3. POPCORN. Touch this pad to cook prepackagedmicrowave popcorn weighing 3.0 to 3.5 ounces.No need to touch START, the oven will startimmediately.4. TIME DEFROST. Gentle thawing at automaticPower Level 3 (Low).5. MICRO COOK. Microwave for a selectedamount of time using automatic Power Level10 (High).6. AUTO DEFROST. Touch this pad and foodweight, then START. The oven automaticallysets power levels and defrosting time.7. EXPRESS COOK. Touch number pads 1 through5 for 1 to 5 minutes of cooking. No need to touchSTART, the oven will start immediately.8. NUMBER PADS. Touch these pads to programthe microwave.9. POWER LEVEL. Touch this pad before enteringanother power level number if you want to changefrom automatic Power Level 10 (High) forcooking or Power Level 3 (Low) for defrosting.10. CLOCK DISPLAY ON/OFF. Touch the 0number pad to turn the clock display on or off.The Clock Display On/Off feature cannot beused while a cooking feature is in use.11. SOUND LEVEL. Press the SOUND LEVEL pad.Press number pad 0, 1, 2 or 3, then press STARTpad to change the sound level of the oven beeper.12. KITCHEN TIMER. This feature uses nomicrowave energy. It functions as either a kitchentimer, as a holding period after defrost or as adelay timer before time or temperature cooking.13. CLOCK. Touch this pad to enter time of dayor check time of day while microwaving. To setclock, first touch CLOCK pad and then enter timeof day. For example, if time is 1:30, touch numberpads 1, 3 and 0 and ‘‘1:30’’ will appear in display.Then touch START or CLOCK pad. To reset orchange time, simply repeat above process.14. REHEAT. Touch this pad for quick reheating ofprepared foods. No need to touch START, theoven will start immediately.15. COOK. Touch this pad, the number pad for thedesired code number, then START. The ovenautomatically microwaves at pre-programmedpower levels and determines the proper amountof cooking times until the food is done and ovenshuts off.16. Convection COOK. Touch this pad beforeentering desired oven temperature, then cook timeor food temperature.17. Convection BROIL. Touch this pad for broiling.Be sure to use splatter shield and drip pan.18. TEMP COOK/HOLD. Use the temperatureprobe to cook by using a preset temperature. Oncefood reaches preset temperature, oven switches toHold setting and maintains that temperature untilyou touch the CLEAR/OFF pad.19. Combination ROAST. Insert probe. Touch thispad (once for Medium, twice for Well), thenSTART. The oven roasts meat with the automaticpreset program.20. Combination COOK. Touch this pad beforeentering desired oven temperature, then cook timeor food temperature. Combination cooking usesalternating microwave and convection formaximum speed and browning.21. DELAY START/REMINDER. Allows you toprogram your oven to begin cooking at a presettime of day—up to a 12-hour delay. The Reminderfeature can be used like an alarm clock.22. START. After all selections are made, touch thispad to start the oven.23. MINUTE. Use this with number pads to enterwhole minutes. For example, for 4 minutes touch4 and MINUTE.24. CLEAR/OFF. When touched, it shuts off theoven and erases all settings (except time of day).25. ADD 30 SEC. Press this pad for 30 secondscook time, to add 30 seconds to the cook timeas it’s counting down or for an “instant on” for30 seconds.26. NIGHT LIGHT. Touch this pad to turn on nightlight. Touch again to turn light off.27. SURFACE LIGHT. Touch this pad to turn onsurface light. Touch again to turn light off.28. VENT FAN. Touch this pad for selection of Low,High or Off fan speed.8
