TOOLS YOU WILL NEEDInstallation InstructionsREVERSING THE DOOR SWING (Single Door Refrigerator Models only)IMPORTANT NOTESWhen reversing the door swing:NOTE: Door swing is not reversible on stainlesssteel models.• Read the instructions all the way through beforestarting.• Parts are included in the door hinge kit.• Handle parts carefully to avoid scratching paint.• Set screws down by their related parts to avoidusing them in the wrong places.• Provide a non-scratching work surface forthe doors.IMPORTANT: Once you begin, do not move thecabinet until door-swing reversal is completed.These instructions are for changing the hingesfrom the right side to the left side—if you ever wantto change the hinges back to the right side, followthese same instructions and reverse all referencesto left and right.• Once door swing is finalized, ensure the logobadge is properly aligned and permanentlysecured to the door by removing the adhesivecover on the back side. NOTE: A replacementlogo badge is included in the hinge kit.Unplug the refrigerator from its electrical outlet.Empty all door shelves, including the dairycompartment.Thin-blade ScrewdriverMasking TapeAdjustable Wrench 5/16″ SocketRatchet/DriverREMOVE THEREFRIGERATOR DOORTape the door shut with masking tape.Remove the hinge cover on top of therefrigerator door by carefully prying it up witha putty knife, if necessary.Using a 5/16″ socket ratchet/driver, removethe bolts securing the top hinge to the cabinet.Then lift the hinge straight up to free the hingepin from the socket in the top of the door.Carefully remove the door thimble from insidethe socket. This will be used again whenreinstalling the door on the other side.Remove the tape and tilt the door away fromthe cabinet. Lift the door off the center hingepin.
