6Controls and FeaturesCustom Hood InsertControls NOTE: Avoid using food products that produceflames under the range hood.1 FAN DECREASE ON/OFF. Press to turn on anddecrease fan settings. It remembers the lastfan level used. The buttons allow you to cyclearound to the desired setting. (Use to set the fanspeed to LOW, MED, HIGH, BOOST or OFF.)2 FAN INCREASE ON/OFF. Press to turn on andincrease fan settings. It remembers the lastfan level used. The buttons allow you to cyclearound to the desired setting. (Use to set the fanspeed to LOW, MED, HIGH, BOOST or OFF.)SENSOR FEATURE—The hood fan willautomatically turn on at the MED setting ifcooking temperatures become too hot. The fanwill stay on for a minimum of 3 minutes and willthen turn off when temperatures cool to anappropriate level.3 LIGHT DECREASE ON/OFF. Press to turn onand dim the lights. It remembers the last lightlevel used. The buttons allow you to cyclearound to the desired setting. (There are fourlight levels/settings and OFF.)4 LIGHT INCREASE ON/OFF. Press to turn onand brighten the lights. It remembers the lastlight level used. The buttons allow you to cyclearound to the desired setting. (There are fourlight levels/settings and OFF.)5 POWER ON/OFF. Press to activate (turnon)/deactivate (turn off) the control buttons.When the buttons are active (turned on), theirouter rings will be illuminated. When active(turned on), the hood lights and fan willautomatically turn on at their last settings.NOTES:• Always deactivate (turn off) the buttons whenthe hood is not in use.• If both the LIGHT and FAN are set to OFF, thebuttons will automatically deactivate (turn off)after 10 seconds.1 2 3 54
