18Your new touch pad control has additional features that you may choose to use. The following are the features andhow you may activate them.The special feature modes can only be activated while the display is showing the time of day. They remain in thecontrol’s memory until the steps are repeated.When the display shows your choice, touch the Start/On pad. The special features will remain in memory aftera power failure.NOTE: The Sabbath feature and the Thermostat adjustment feature are also Special Features, but they are addressedseparately in the following sections.Special features of your oven control. (on some models)12 Hour Shut-OffWith this feature, should you forget and leavethe oven on, the control will automatically turnoff the oven after 12 hours during bakingfunctions or after 3 hours during a broilfunction.If you wish to turn OFF this feature, followthe steps below.Touch the Bake and Broil Hi/Lo padsat the same time for 3 seconds untilthe display shows SF.Touch the Clock pad. The display willshow ON (12 hour shut-off).
