REMOVE JUNCTION BOX COVER• Remove the junction box cover by taking out the fronttwo screws.1Junction boxInstallation Instructions12DIRECT CONNECT APPLICATIONSFOR 265 VOLT DIRECT CONNECTAPPLICATIONS ONLYIMPORTANT: Connection of a 265V AC productto a branch circuit MUST be done by direct connectionin accordance with the National Electrical Code. Pluggingthis unit into a building mounted exposed receptacleis not permitted by code.These models must be installed using the appropriateGE power supply kit for the branch circuit amperageand the electrical resistance heater wattage desired.See the POWER CONNECTION CHART on page 13to select the appropriate kit.It is the responsibility of the installer to ensurethe connection of components is done in accordancewith electrical codes.Direct connection to branch circuit wiring insidethe provided junction box must be made by connectingas follows in steps 1–3 below.ATTACH CONDUIT• Use the round knockout hole at the topof the junction box to install conduit comingfrom the branch circuit. Install and clamp the conduitthrough the conduit clamp and bring wire leads intothe junction box.
