A735 / A835 SERVICE NOTICE: BATTERY INDICATOR METERDear GE Valued Customer,There have been reported incidents that the battery indicator meter of some GE A735 and A835digital cameras may be under-reporting battery levels on certain types of batteries, andaccordingly, we have released a firmware update to reset the battery indicator meter.We extend our sincerest apologies for any inconveniences that this may have caused you, andwe make every effort to achieve the highest levels of quality possible and request yourcontinued support. Should you need any assistance, please contact us at 1-800-730-6597.Symptoms and CauseIn certain units, the voltage of fully charged batteries may be under-reported by the camera’sbattery meter, which causes the batteries to be registered as only 1/3 power, or in some cases,zero power (displayed on the LCD screen as “Power Exhausted”).ResolutionThe battery indicator meter can be reset by following the instructions below to install the latestfirmware to your camera.INSTRUCTIONS:Before you begin, you must have the following items available: SD card Computer Internet access GE camera1. IMPORTANT - Verify the camera model on the front of the camera. Click on the appropriatelink below and save the firmware to your SD card.
