Cleaning the FiltersFor best performance and results, the filter assembly mustbe cleaned once a month. The filter efficiently removes foodparticles from the wash water, allowing water to be recirculatedduring the cycle. For this reason, it is a good idea to remove thelarge food particles trapped in the filter frequently by rinsing themain filter and cup under running water. To remove the filterassembly, follow the 3 steps shown below. To clean the mainfilter and fine filter, use a cleaning brush. The dishwasher mustnever be used without the filters. Improper replacement of thefilter may reduce the performance level of the appliance andmay damage dishes and utensils.Protect Against FreezingIf your dishwasher is left in an unheatedplace during the winter, ask a servicetechnician to:1 Cut off electrical power to the dishwasher.Remove fuses or trip circuit breaker.2 Turn off the water supply anddisconnect the water inlet line fromthe water valve.3 Drain water from the water inlet lineand water valve.
