Touch theSTART/RESET pad to begin the cycle. Water fillbegins, and approximately 60 seconds later thewash action begins.NOTE: The dishwasher remembers your last cycle soyou don’t have to reprogram each time. When thedishwasher door is fully closed, the control panellights will display the last settings you selected.If you don’t want to change any of the settings, simplytouch the START/RESET pad to begin the cycle.If the door is closed the indicator lights will turnoff if the START/RESET pad is not selected withintwo minutes. To activate the display, open andclose the door or press any pad.Also, if a power failure occurs, NORMAL and HEATEDDRY will automatically be programmed. Make anynew selections and touch the START/RESET pad tobegin the cycle.CleanThe CLEAN light is illuminated when a wash cycleis complete. The light will stay ON until the dooris opened.45Status Indicator Lights What It MeansSTART/RESET Cycle has been interrupted by pressing the START/RESET pad. Light will quitflashing after the dishwasher automatically drains out the water.Flashing display lights.Using the dishwasher.Check the Water TemperatureUse Jet-Dry ® or Cascade Rinse Aid® Rinse AgentJet-Dry ® or Cascade Rinse Aid ® rinse agent removes spots and prevents new film buildup on yourdishes, glasses, flatware, cookware and plastic.Filling the DispenserThe rinse agent dispenser holds 3.5 oz. of rinse agent. Under normalconditions, this will last approximately one month. Try to keep it full,but do not overfill.Make sure the dishwasher door is fully open.Turn the dispenser knob to the left and lift it out.Add rinse agent until the indicator window looks full.Clean up any spilled rinse agent with a damp cloth.Replace the dispenser knob.Rinse Aid SettingThe amount of rinse agent released into the final wash can beadjusted. The factory setting is at the midpoint. If there are ringsof calcium (hard water) spots on dishes, try a higher setting.To adjust the settingRemove the dispenser knob, then turn the adjuster counterclockwiseto increase the amount of rinse agent.54321The entering water should be at least 120°F and notmore than 150°F, for effective cleaning and to preventdish damage. Check the water temperature with acandy or meat thermometer.
