Care and cleaning of the freezer.Cleaning Vour Freezer_'_Outside. Protect the paint finish. The finishon the outside of the freezer is a highquality, baked-on paint finish. With propercare, it will stag newdooking and rust-freefor gears. Apply a coat of appliance polishwax when the freezer is new and then atleast twice a gear Appliance polish waxalso works well to remove tape residuefrom freezer surfaces.Keep the finish clean. Wipe with a cleancloth lightly dampened with appliancepolishwax or mild liquid dishwashingdetergent. Dry and polishwith a clean, softcloth. Do not wipe the freezer with a soileddishwashing cloth or wet towel. Do not usescouring pads, powdered cleaners, bleachor cleaners containing bleach.CAUTION:Careshould be taken in movingthe freezer away from the wall. All typesof floor coverings can be damaged,particularly cushioned coveringsand those with embossedsurfaces._flnside. Clean the inside of your freezerat least once a gear.We recommend thatthe freezer be unplugged before cleaning.If this is not practical, wring excessmoisture out of sponge or cloth whencleaning in the vicinity of switches, lightsor controls.Use warm water and baking sodasolution-about a tablespoon of bakingsoda to a quart of waten Rinsethoroughlgwith water and wipe drg. Do not usecleaning powders or other abrasivecleaners.An open box of baking soda in the freezerwill absorb stale freezer odors. Changethe box every three months.
