If the LCD monitor is damaged, take particularcare with the liquid crystal in the monitor. If anyof the following situations arise, take the urgentaction indicated.• If liquid crystal comes in contact with your skin, wipethe area with a cloth and then wash thoroughly withsoap and running water.• If liquid crystal gets into your eye, flush the affectedeye with clean water for at least 15 minutes andthen seek medical assistance.• If liquid crystal is swallowed, flush your mouththoroughly with water. Drink large quantities ofwater and induce vomiting. Then seek medicalassistance.About the LCD screenWhen you turn the camera on, various icons are shownon the LCD screen to indicate the current camerasettings and status. To learn more about the displayedicons, see “LCD Screen display” on page 38.LCD Screen notes:Extremely high-precision technology had been used tomanufacture the LCD screen so that most of the pixelsare operational for use. However, there may be someminute points (black, white, red, blue or green) thatconstantly appear on the LCD screen. These points arenormal in the manufacturing process and the recordingis not affected in any way.
