STEP 12: PUSH DISHWASHER INTOFINAL POSITION• Check the tub insulation blanket, if equipped, to be sure it issmoothly wrapped around the tub. It should not be “bunchedup” and it must not interfere with the door springs. If theinsulation is “bunched up” or interfering with the springs,straighten and recenter the blanket prior to sliding thedishwasher into its final position.• Slide the dishwasher into the final position by pushing onthe sides of the door panel. Do not push or pull the doorin a partially open or closed position when moving thedishwasher. Do not use a knee or push on the center of thepanel. If you do, damage to the panel will likely result.• The dishwasher is in the final position when the edges ofthe front panel are flush with the adjacent cabinets and thedishwasher is centered in the cabinet opening. Check thatthe dishwasher is squarely positioned in the cabinet openingat both the top and the bottom of the appliance prior tomounting to the cabinet.IMPORTANT – Before opening the dishwasherdoor, be certain the edges of the dishwasher door panel arebehind the face of the adjacent cabinet and not up against thecabinet face. If the dishwasher door is opened when the edgeof the door is against the face of the cabinet, dishwasher doordamage and cabinet damage will occur.Dishwasher Installation9Tip: Prevent unnecessary service charges for panel damageor wash performance.Check dishwasher alignment prior to opening dishwasher doorto prevent panel damage.Make sure utility lines are not trapped or crushed behinddishwasher.
