Have a qualified technicianvacuum the lint from the dryer once a year.NEVER OPERATETHE DRYER WITHOUT ITS FILTERIN PLACE.Stainless Steel: To clean stainless steelsurfaces use a damp cloth with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner suitable for stainless steelsurfaces. Remove the cleaner residue andthen dry with a clean cloth.The stainless steel used to make the dryerdrum provides the highest reliability availablein a GE dryer. If the dryer drum should bescratched or dented during normal use, thedrum will not rust or corrode. These surfaceblemishes will not affect the function ordurability of the drum.Drver Interior and Duct: The interior ofthe appliance and exhaust duct should becleaned once a year by qualified servicepersonnel.The Exhaust Duct: Inspect and clean theexhaust ducting at least once a year toprevent clogging.A partially clogged exhaust can lengthen thedrying time.The Exhaust Hood: Check with o mirror thatthe inside flops of the hood move freely whenoperating.
