In the event of a malfunctionor breakdown, grounding will reduce the risk of electric shock by providing a path of leastresistance for electric current. This dishwasher is equipped with a cord having a groundingconductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet thatis installed and grounded in accordance with the NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, ANSI/NPFANO. 70.ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS This appliance must besupplied with 120V, 60 Hz,and connected to anindividual, properlygrounded branch circuit,protected by a 15 or 20amp circuit breaker ortime-delay fuse. If the electric supplyprovided does not meetthe above specifications, it is recommended that alicensed electrician install an approved outlet. Your dishwasher circuit should not be used forany other appliance while the dishwasher is inoperation as the dishwasher requires the fullcapacity of the circuit. If the wall receptacle you plug the dishwasher’spower cord into is controlled by a switch, turn onthe switch.Ensure proper groundexists before use.WARNING!Improper connection of the equipment/grounding conductor can result in a risk of electricshock. Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether thedishwasher is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance; if itwill not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
