• HOT WATER—Your dishwasherneeds hot water for best results. Waterentering the dishwasher should be atleast 120°F. but your dishwasherperforms BETTER with HIGHERwater temperatures not to exceed 150°F.• WATER HARDNESS—The hardnessof the water plays an important part inhow well your dishwasher cleans. Inareas where water is very hard (12 grainsor more), it may be necessary to installa water softener. If you do not know thehardness of your water supply, contactyour local water department.• DETERGENTS—Only use detergentslabeled for use in automatic dishwashers.Never use laundry detergents orliquid soaps…that will cause oversudsingand leaks. The amount of detergent youuse depends on the water hardness and theamount of soil on your dishes. In mostcases, detergent amounts should beincreased for hard water and heavy soil.• RINSE AGENT—should always be used:— to reduce water spotting.— to improve drying.Always check and refill the rinse agentwhen necessary.• FOR BEST RESULTS—The cyclesand the options you choose have aneffect on the results you get. Thefollowing are examples.
