3232Basic Function MenuThe Basic Function menu includes flash, self-timer, macro, andcontinuous capture.Set the basic functions in the following steps:Flash1. Press Right / Flash button to enter function menus.• Force OffFlash is turned off.• Flash AutoCamera flash turns off automatically based onexisting light conditions.• Force FlashThe flash will fire with each shot even if there is enoughavailable light to take the photo without flash.• Slow Sync.This allows for night scenery photos that includepeople in the foreground. The use of a tripod isrecommended when shooting with this setting.• Slow Sync. + Red-EyeUsing this mode for slow synchro shots with red-eyereduction.• Red-Eye ReductionThe camera emits a brief flash before the picture istaken to reduce red-eye effects.2. Press Left/Right button to select the option setting, pressSET button to confirm the setting and exit the interface.When appears, it represents the flashlight ischarging.
