On some models, theOVEN TEMP knob also turns the oven OFF.The oven cycling light glows until the oven reachesyour selected temperature, then goes off and on withthe oven element(s) during cooking.The oven on light will glow any time the OVEN SETknob is not in the OFF position.OVEN SET OVEN TEMPOven ShelvesThe shelves are designed with stop-locks so thatwhen placed correctly on the shelf supports, theywill stop before coming out completely from theoven, and will not tilt when removing food from orplacing food on them.When placing cookware on a shelf, pull the shelf outto the bump on the shelf support. Place the cookwareon the shelf, then slide the shelf back into the oven.This will eliminate reaching into the hot oven.To remove the shelves from the oven, pull towardyou, tilt the front end upward and pull them out.To replace, place the shelf on the shelf support withthe stop-locks (curved extension under the shelf>facing up toward the rear of the oven. Tilt up the frontand push the shelf toward the back of the oven until itgoes past the bump on the shelf support. Then lowerthe front of the shelf and push it all the waj’ back.
