Injurymight result from spilled hot liquids or fromrange itself.Typical Installation of Anti-Tip BracketAttachment to WallBracketScrew Must Enter _ I i WalI PlateSTEP 9LEVELING THE RANGEThe range must be level. Leveling feet are locatedat each corner of the base of the range. Removethe storage drawer or kick panel (depending onyour model) and using channel locks, rotate theleveling feet in and out as required to level therange. (For instructions on how to remove andreplace the storage drawer or the kick panel, seethe Cleaning Under the Range section in Careand Cleaning.) On some models, there are plasticcovers which may be removed for easyadjustment (just squeeze and pull).One of the rear leveling feet will engage theANTI-TIP bracket (allow for some side to sideadjustment). Allow a minimum clearance of 1/8-inch between the range and the leveling foot thatis to be installed into the ANTI-TIP bracket.Check the range for proper installation into theANTI-TIP bracket (after the range has beenproperly installed) by removing the kick panel orstorage drawer and inspecting the rear levelingleg. Make sure it fits securely into the slot.STEP 10FINAL CHECKBe sure all switches are in the OFF positionbefore leaving the range.53
