Using the Roast feature.The roast feature uses microwave energyand convection heat from the rear elementto roast the food evenly throughout. Inconvection roasting, the microwave power is28% and the convection heating is 72%.CAUTION: When using the roastfeature, remember that the oven door, dishesand the grilling rack will be very hot!■ Cookware will become hot. Oven mittswill be needed to handle the cookware.■ Place food or cookware directly on thegrill rack when cooking.■ You can use non-metal casserole dishes,pie plates and other heat safe cookware.Place them directly on the turntable tray.■ Be sure to select a size that will rotateeasily.■ Place the grill rack directly on theturntable tray.■ Do not use cookware or coverings madeof paper, plastic or foil when using theroast feature.Setting a Convection Roasting ProgramMake sure the turntable support and tray are inplace when roasting.PressROAST once. The temperature“325F” will show in the display.Enter the desired temperature usingthe convection temperature keys.PressROAST again to confirm thetemperature.Enter the desired cooking time.PressSTART.When the oven stops, use oven mitts tocarefully remove the dish or glass tray.It may be very hot.During and after use, do not touch, or letclothing, pot holders or other flammablematerials contact the cooking elements.These surfaces may be hot enough to burneven though they are dark in color.
