26Care and cleaning of the range.Wire cover holder.Oven Light ReplacementCAUTION: Before replacing youroven light bulb, disconnect the electrical power tothe range at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel.Be sure to let the light cover and bulb coolcompletely.The oven light bulb is covered with aremovable glass cover that is held in placewith a bail-shaped wire. Remove the ovendoor, if desired, to reach cover easily.To remove:Hold a hand under the cover soit doesn’t fall when released. Withfingers of the same hand, firmlypush back the wire cover holder.Lift off the cover.Do not remove any screws to removethe cover.Do not touch hot bulb with a wetcloth. Replace bulb with a 40-watthousehold appliance bulb.To replace cover:Place it into the groove of the lightreceptacle. Pull the wire forward to thecenter of the cover until it snaps intoplace. When in place, the wire holdsthe cover firmly.
