Wipe the window clean with a dampcloth. Chrome is best wiped with a damp cloth andthen with a dry towel.Insidel Keep the microwave oven clean and sweet-smelling.Opening the oven door a few minutes after cookinghelps air out the interior. An occasional thoroughwiping with a solution of baking soda and waterkeeps the interior fresh.l Spills and spatters are easy to remove from wallsand floor. That’s because there’s little heat exceptin the food, or sometimes in the cookware. Somespatters wipe up with a paper towel, some mayrequire a damp cloth. Remove greasy spatters witha sudsy cloth, then rinse and dry.Wipe up spatters on the window on the insideof the door daily. When the window is soiled, washit with a damp cloth. Rinse thoroughly and dry.Wipe metal and plastic parts on the inside of thedoor frequently. Use a damp cloth to remove all soil.Do not use abrasives, such as cleaning powders orsteel and plastic pads. They may mar the surface.Door Surfacel When cleaning surfaces of door and oven thatcome together on closing the door, use only mild,non-abrasive soaps or detergents applied with asponge or soft cloth.If you use a Brown ‘N Sear Dish:l Use Bon Amia brand cleanser. High heat generatedon the bottom of the Brown ‘N Sear Dish cancause stains to bake onto the oven floor if greaseis present. These may be removed with Bon AmiQbrand cleanser.l After using this cleanser, rinse and dry thoroughly,following instructions on can. Do not use it on thepainted surfaces such as the walls—it may scratchthe paint.DO NOT USE A COMMERCIAL OVENCLEANER ON ANY PART OF YOURMICROWAVE OVEN.Temperature Probe Microwave oven Glass Cooking Tray Microwave OvenThe temperature probe may be cleaned with soap Occasionally it is necessary to remove the cookingand water or a soap-filled scouring pad. Cool the tray. To prevent breakage, do not place tray intotemperature probe before cleaning. Scour stubborn water just after cooking. Wash it carefully in warm,spots with a soap-filled scouring pad, rinse and dry. sudsy water or in the dishwasher.
