It cannot be used for broiling or Delay Start cooking.NOTE: The oven light comes on automatically (on some models) when the door is opened and goes off when the dooris closed. The bulb may be removed. See the Oven Light Replacement section. On models with a light switch on thecontrol panel, the oven light may be turned on and left on.When the display shows ⊃ the ovenis set in Sabbath. When the displayshows ⊃ the oven isbaking/roasting.⊃How to Set Sabbath Feature for Timed Baking/Roasting—Immediate Start andAutomatic StopNOTE: To understand how the oven control works, practiceusing regular (non-Sabbath) Immediate Start and AutomaticStop before entering the Sabbath mode.Make sure the clock shows the correct time of day and theoven is off.Press and hold both the BAKE and BROIL HI/LOpads, at the same time, until the display shows SF.Tap the CLOCK pad until SAb appearsin the display.Press the START/ON pad and ⊃ willappear in the display.Press the COOKING TIME pad.Press the + or – pads to set the desired lengthof cooking time between 1 minute and 9hours and 59 minutes. The cooking timethat you entered will be displayed.Press the START/ON pad.Press the BAKE pad. No signal will be given.The preset starting temperature willautomatically be set to 350°. Tap the +or – pads to increase or decrease thetemperature in 25° increments. Thetemperature can be set between 175° and550°. No signal or temperature will be given.Press the START/ON pad.After a random delay period ofapproximately 30 seconds to 1 minute, ⊃will appear in the display indicating thatthe oven is baking/roasting. If ⊃ doesn’tappear in the display, start again at Step 7.To adjust the oven temperature, press theBAKE pad and tap the + or – pads to increaseor decrease the temperature in 25° increments.Press the START/ON pad.When cooking is finished, the display will changefrom ⊃ to ⊃ indicating that the oven has turnedOFF but is still set in Sabbath. Remove the cookedfood.⊃⊃⊃How to Set Sabbath Feature for Regular Baking/RoastingNOTE: To understand how the oven control works, practiceusing regular baking (non-Sabbath) before entering Sabbathmode.Make sure the clock shows the correct time of day and theoven is off.Press and hold both the BAKE and BROIL HI/LOpads, at the same time, until the display shows SF.Tap the CLOCK pad until SAb appearsin the display.Press the START/ON pad and ⊃ willappear in the display.Press the BAKE pad. When the displayshows ⊃ the oven isbaking/roasting.⊃How to Exit the Sabbath FeaturePress the CLEAR/OFF pad.If the oven is cooking, wait for a randomdelay period of approximately 30 secondsto 1 minute, until only ⊃ is in the display.Press and hold both the BAKE and BROILHI/LO pads, at the same time, until the displayshows SF.Tap the CLOCK pad until ON or OFF appearsin the display. ON indicates that the oven willautomatically turn off after 12 hours. OFFindicates that the oven will not automaticallyturn off. See the Special Features section foran explanation of the 12-Hour Shutoff feature.Press the START/ON pad.NOTE: If a power outage occurred while the oven was inSabbath, the oven will automatically turn off and stay off evenwhen the power returns. The oven control must be reset.
