However, the greasefilter should be cleaned at least oncea month.To remove:Pull down on the center of the frontedge of the filter. The filter will thenslip out of the retaining tabs on theback.To replace:Slip the back edge of the filter into theretaining tabs and push the front edgeup until it snaps into place.To clean:Soak and then agitate it in a hot waterand detergent solution. Light brushingcan be used to remove embeddeddirt. Rinse, shake and let it dry beforereplacing.NEVER OPERATE THE HOODWITHOUT THE FILTER IN PLACE.With careful handling, the metalfilter will last for years.
