Dishwasher Sold Without Power CordElectrical connection is on right side ofdishwasher.• For cable direct connections the cable must beroutedas shown in Figure F. Cable must extend aminimum of 24” from the rear wall.B. Dishwasher Sold With Power Cord1. Install 3-prong grounding type receptacle in therear wall of sink cabinet next to dishwasher.Receptacle is installed at least 6”, but not morethan 18”, from cabinet opening for dishwasher.Do not install receptacle in cabinet openingfor dishwasher.2. Edges of wall opening for power cord should besmooth and well rounded. If the cabinet wallpartition is metal, the edge of the opening mustbe covered using a rubber cord protector. Forthose models supplied with a power cord, theprotector is in a bag inside the dishwasher.3. Push power cord plug through hole in cabinetwall before installing dishwasher in cabinetopening. Take care when installing or movingdishwasher to avoid damage to power supplycord.
