Use only powder, tabs, liquid detergentsor rinse agents recommended for use in adishwasher and keep them out of the reachof children. Cascade®, Cascade Complete®and Electrasol® Automatic DishwashingDetergents, and Jet-Dry® rinse agent havebeen approved for use in all GE dishwashers. Using a detergent that is not specificallydesigned for dishwashers will cause thedishwasher to fill with suds. Locate sharp items so that they are not likelyto damage the door seal. Load sharp knives with the handles up toreduce the risk of cut-type injuries. Do not wash plastic items unless markeddishwasher safe or the equivalent. Forplastic items not so marked, check themanufacturer’s recommendations. Non-Dishware Items: Do not wash itemssuch as electronic air cleaner filters, furnacefilters and paint brushes in your dishwasher.Damage to dishwasher and discoloration orstaining of dishwasher may result. Do not touch the heating element during orimmediately after use. Do not operate your dishwasher unless allenclosure panels are properly in place. Close supervision is necessary if thisappliance is used by or near children.
