Replacing the light bulbs,Setting the controls to OFF does not remove power to the light circuit.Reveal ® appliance bulbs are used on some models. They can be identified by their blue color when theyare not illuminated.Not all features are on all models.Your light shield will look likeone of the following:TabsORPocketRefrigerator Compartment--Upper Light0 Unplug the refrigerator.The bulbs are located at the top ofthe compartment, inside the light shield.On some models, a screw at the frontof the light shield will have to beremoved. On other models,the screw is located in the pocketlocated at the back of the light shield.0 To remove the light shield, on somemodels, press in on the tabs on the sidesof the shield and slideforward and out.On other models,just slide the shieldforward and out.After replacing the bulb with anappliance bulb of the same or lowerwattage, replace the light shield andscrews (on some models).Whenreplacing the light shield, makesure that the tabs at the backof the shield fit into the slots atthe back of the light shield housing.Plugthe refrigerator back in.Refrigerator Compartment--Lower LightThis light is located above the top drawer.Unplug the refrigerator.Removethe convertible meat drawercontrol knob by pulling straight out.After replacing the bulb with anappliance bulb of the same or lowerwattage, replace the shield and the knob.Plug the refrigerator back in.Lift the light shield up and pull it out.Freezer CompartmentUnplug the refrigerator.0 Removethe shelf just above the lightshield. (Theshelf will be easier to removeif it is emptied first.) On some models,a screw at the top of the light shieldwill need to be removed.To remove the light shield, press inon the sides,and lift up and out.O Replace the bulb with an appliancebulb of the same or lower wattage,and reinstall the light shield. Whenreinstalling the light shield, make surethe top tabs snap securelg into place.Replace the screw (on some models).Reinstall the shelf and plugthe refrigerator back in.Dispenser (on some models)Unplug the refrigerator.The bulb is located on the dispenserunder the control panel. Removethe lightbulb bg turning it counterclockwise.Replace the bulb with a bulbof the same size and wattage.Plug the refrigerator back in.16
