6About TurboCool.™How it WorksTurboCool ™ rapidly cools the refrigeratorcompartment in order to more quicklycool foods. Use TurboCool when adding alarge amount of food to the refrigeratorcompartment, putting away foods after theyhave been sitting out at room temperatureor when putting away warm leftovers. It canalso be used if the refrigerator has beenwithout power for an extended period.Once activated, the compressor will turn onimmediately and the fans will cycle on andoff at high speed as needed for eight hours. The compressor will continue to run untilthe refrigerator compartment cools toapproximately 34°F (1°C), then it will cycleon and off to maintain this setting. After8 hours, or if TurboCool is pressed again, the refrigerator compartment will returnto the original setting. How to UsePress TurboCool. The refrigeratortemperature display will show TC.After TurboCool is complete, the refrigeratorcompartment will return to the originalsetting.NOTES:The refrigerator temperature cannot be changedduring TurboCool. The freezer temperature is not affected duringTurboCool. When opening the refrigerator door duringTurboCool, the fans will continue to run if theyhave cycled on.Consumer Support Troubleshooting Tips Operating Instructions Safety InstructionsInstallation InstructionsAbout ClimateKeeper2.™How it WorksThe new ClimateKeeper2 ™ is the industry’smost advanced refrigeration system, delivering optimum temperature andhumidity performance to keep food gardenfresh longer and reduce freezer burn, whilemaintaining E star-level efficiency. The new ClimateKeeper2 system featurestwo evaporators—one for the refrigeratorand one for the freezer. This provides two separate cooling systemsfor the entire unit, and separates theairflow between the fresh food and freezersections during normal cooling operations.*This ensures that the humidity levels in thefresh food section are significantly higherthan in a conventional system,** allowingfresh produce and other unsealed foods toretain their moisture content and freshnesslonger. Moisture sensitive foods such asfresh fruit, salads, rice, etc., can now bestored on open shelves without excessivemoisture loss. Due to the higher humidityin the refrigerator, you may on occasionexperience fog or small amounts ofmoisture in the refrigerator compartment. This is normal and may come and go asdifferent food loads and environmentalconditions change. Wipe dry with a papertowel if desired. The separate airflow system minimizesthe mixing of air between the twocompartments, which reduces odortransfer to improve the taste of ice.The ClimateKeeper2 system also reducesthe number of defrosting cycles in thefreezer evaporator, thereby reducingfreezer burn.*Freezer air is used in the CustomCool feature.**Testing shows a higher level of humidity inthe Fresh Food section in ClimateKeeper2refrigerators versus conventional units.
