Consumer Support Troubleshooting Tips Operating InstructionsSafety InstructionsADDING NEW DUCTRIGHT ORLEFT SIDEEXHAUSTADDING ELBOW FOR EXHAUSTTHROUGH BOTTOM OF CABINET• Insert the elbow through the rear opening and connect itto the dryer internal duct.• Apply duct tape on the joint between the dryer internalduct and elbow, as shown above.Reconnect the cut portion (A) of the duct to the blowerhousing. Make sure that the shortened duct is aligned withthe tab in the base. Use the screw saved previously to securethe duct in place through the tab on the appliance base.ADDING ELBOW AND DUCT FOR EXHAUST TOLEFT OR RIGHT SIDE OF CABINET• Preassemble 4" elbow with 4" duct. Wrap duct tapearound joint.• Insert duct assembly, elbow first, through the sideopening and connect the elbow to the dryer internal duct.CAUTION: Be sure not to pull or damage theelectrical wires inside the dryerwhen inserting the duct.PORTION "A"FIXINGHOLECAUTION:Internal duct joints must besecured with tape, otherwisethey may separate and causea safety hazard.• Apply duct tape as shown on the joint between the dryerinternal duct and the elbow.EXHAUST CANBE ADDED TOLEFT OR RIGHT SIDEDUCTTAPEDUCTTAPECAUTION: Internal duct joints must be secured withtape,otherwise they may separate andcause a safety hazard.ADDING COVER PLATE TO REAR OF CABINET(SIDES AND BOTTOM EXHAUST)PLATE(KIT WE1M454)WARNING - NEVER LEAVE THE BACKOPENING WITHOUT THE PLATE.
