1 To replace the bulb, firstdisconnect the power atthe main fuse or circuitbreaker panel or pullthe plug.2 Remove the screw fromlight cover and lowerthe cover.3 Be sure the bulb is coolbefore removing. Afterbreaking the adhesiveseal, remove the bulb bygently turning.4 Replace the bulb. Closethe light cover andsecure the cover with thescrew. Connect electricalpower to the oven.Replace the burned-outbulb with a 120 volt,40-watt incandescentbulb (WB36X10003),available from yourGE supplier.Cooktop Light1 To replace the oven light,first disconnect the powerat the main fuse or circuitbreaker panel or pullthe plug.2 Remove the front grille bybacking out the 3 screwsalong the top. Slide thegrille to the left, then pullstraight out.3 Remove the charcoalfilter, if present. Reachinto the opening, justright of center. The lightbulb is located beneatha light compartmentcover. Press and holdthe center snap whilelifting the tab on theleft corner. Remove thecover. Remove the bulbby turning gently.4 Install the replacementbulb.
