Replacing the light bulbs.Setting either or both controls to 0 does not remove power to the light circuit.Refrigerator Compartment--Upper LightTabsO Unplug the refrigeratol:The bulbs are located at tile top of thecompartment, inside the light shield.On some models, a screw at tile front ofthe light shield will have to be removed.To remove the light shield, press in onthe tabs on tile sides of the shield andslide forward and out.After replacing the bulb witb anappliance bulb of tile same or lowerwattage, replace tile light shield andscrews (on some models). Whenreplacing the light shield, make suretbat tile tabs at the hack of tile shield fitinto tile slots at the back of the lightshield housing.Plug tile refrigerator back in.Refrigerator Compartment--Lower LightThis light is Iocatedabovethe top drawerUnplug the refrigeratonRemove tbe convertible meat drawercontrol knob by pulling straight out.Lift tbe light shield tip and pull it out.After replacing the bulb witb anappliance bulb of tbe same or lowerwattage, replace the shield andtbe knob.O Plug the refl'igerator back in.Freezer CompartmentUnplug tbe refrigerator.O Remove the shelf just above tbe lightshield. (The shell:will be easier toremove if it is emptied first.) On somemodels, a screw at tbe top of the lightshield will need to be removed._To remove the light shield, press in onthe sides, and lift tip and out._ Replace the bulb with an appliancebulb of the same or lower wattage,and reinstall the light shield. Whenreinstalling the light shield, makesure the top tabs snap securelyinto place. Replace the screw (onsome models)._ Reinstall the shelf and plug therefrigerator back in.DispenserUnplug tbe refrigerator._The bulb is located on tbedispenser tinder tbe control panel.Remove the light bulb by turningit counterclockwise.Replace the bulb with a bulb of thesame size and wattage.Plug the refl'igerator back in.16
