5Safety notes for memory card• Do not drop the memory card or allow it to hitsolid objects to avoid damaging it.• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair thememory card.• Do not expose the memory card to water. Alwayskeep it dry.• Do not remove the memory card while thecamera is on. Otherwise, the memory cardcould be damaged.• Do not directly edit the data on the memorycard. Copy the data to your PC before you editthem.• When the camera is stored for a long periodof time, be sure to download your photos andremove the memory card. Store it in a dryenvironment.• Format the memory card using the camerabefore you use it or insert a new one.• We suggest buying only well-known, namebrand memory cards to ensure peakperformance.• Do not modify the name of the files or foldersof the memory card using your PC. Modifyingthe file names may cause the files to not berecognized on the camera or a possible errormay occur.• A photo taken with the camera will be storedin the folder that is automatically generatedon the SD card. Do not store photos that arenot taken using this camera in these folders asthe pictures cannot be recognized during theplayback.• When you insert a memory card, make sure thenotch of the card matches the markings on thetop of the card slot.
