Ifextremely soiled, they may need tobe professionally steam cleaned,a service available through yourGeneral Electric service outlet.... ...Air FilterThe foam air filter behind the roomcabinet should be washed at leastevery 30 days or as often as it needscleaning.Access to the filter is obtainedby tilting the room cabinet out asfollows:1. Lift, pull and lower.STOPBRACKETS*L !,_\.... Q’-”-!/’”2. Position room cabinet againststop brackets.3. Reach in, grasp filter at centertab and pull.When tilted out, the room cabinetcan be removed, if desired, by liftingit so the slots at the bottom of thecabinet disengage from the hooksat the bottom of the chassis.Note: For Zoneline models installedhigh in the wall, filter access isthrough the bottom grille section ofthe front discharge room cabinet.Vacuumthe filter on the dirtyside or wash it with runningwater.Run water through from the cleanerside of the filter to drive out accum-ulated dust and lint.
