GEH-7299A: Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manualfor Type VR1™ Single-Phase, Step Type Regulatorsprolec.energy/prolecge3LETTER OF GUARANTEEProlec GE USA, LLC guarantees the apparatus specified herein against any defect of Design,Construction, Material and Workmanship.By this Warranty, we undertake to repair or replace, as necessary, L.A.B. manufactures, all equipmentor part of which is found defective within twelve (12) months from the date of energization or eighteen(18) months from the date of shipment, whichever occurs first, and provided that we are given writtennotice upon discovery of the defect detailing the fault found referred to in the previous paragraph andthe circumstances in which it occurred.This being Warranty against design or manufacturing defects; Our commitment is void in case of improperinstallation, operation or maintenance, or carried out by unqualified personnel, as well as accidentalor fortuitous circumstances, such as the lack of adequate protection of the equipment against over-currents, surges or overloads, atmospheric discharges, fires, mistreatment in transport or maneuver, inaddition to not providing evidence of satisfactory results of tests carried out prior to energization, etc.To maintain the validity of this Warranty, no modifications must be made to the design or characteristicsof the equipment, without prior authorization from the factory.The spare parts, components, consumables and accessories of the product covered by this Warranty,as well as further reports for its claim, can be obtained from the address shown below:Prolec GE USA, LLC7000 W.
