See the Self-Cleaning Oven section.Oven LightThe light comes on when the oven door is opened or when the control panellight switch is turned on.Oven VentWhen the oven is on, heated air moves through a ventabove the door or between door and air grille.The vent area could get hot during oven use.The vent is needed for proper air flow in the oven andgood baking results.
