(Fig. 28)You can bake, roast, and sterilise with hot aircirculation.When roasting on the grid iron, insert the grillingtray / glass tray one level lower than the food youare cooking to collect dripping fat.Switching offTurn the temperature selector switch to the 0position. The oven lighting goes off and the hot airfan switches off.SterilisingWhen placing bottles (no more than 6) containingfruit or vegetables in the grill pan / glass tray filledwith water, make sure that they do not touch eachother. (Fig. 29) Heat them at 175 °C until the liquid inthe glasses begins to bubble.– Sterilise vegetables at 80-100 °C for app. 30-60 mi-nutes.– After the onset of bubbling, switch off the oven tosterilise fruit for app. 5-15 minutes.Switching onTurn the “Mode" control knob to the ECO symboland set the “Temperature" control knob to therequired temperature (Fig. 30). Using the ECOmode is an energy saving way of baking. The ovenwill take longer to heat up and the light is switchedoff during baking. You can switch on the lighting fora few seconds by pressing the (Confirmation)key. In the ECO mode the catalytic converterheating is switched off.
