346.1 Manual cleaningCaution, risk of burns! Wait until the oven hascooled down to be touched safely beforecleaning.Do not use any scouring cleaning agents,aggressive or nitro-polishing agents, scouringpads or other tools.Thoroughly clean the appliance before operating itfor the first time and after every use, thus avoidingthe residues baking in. After residues have bakedin several times, they are then difficult to remove.Clean the oven with hot soapy water while it is stillwarm and leave it open to dry. Do not scrape offbaked-in remainders of food. Instead, moisten themwith a wet cloth and detergent.Fruit juices from moist cakes dripping onto the oveninterior can damage the enamel. Remove suchsoiling as soon as the oven has cooled downsufficiently.Do not use commercially available oven sprays toclean the oven.Clean accessories (baking tray, grid iron and grillpan) with hot water or detergent.Clean the control panel, glass surface andoperator controls with a moist cloth and mildsoapy water and dry them with a soft dry cloth.Do not use any commercially available stainlesssteel cleaners or highly alkali cleaners (for exampleoven cleaning spray) for the control panel asthese can damage the panel and the printedsymbols. Do not use any abrasive sponges either.Do not use scouring agents or abrasive sponges toclean the glass front. Use commercially availablewindow cleaning detergents and apply them on asoft, moist cloth or a window leather. Do not sprayonto the control panel.Cleaning the baking stone (special accessory)Remove coarse soiling from the baking stone. Turnthe baking stone round before using it again. Thiswill ensure self-cleaning. Dough residues can thenbe removed using a soft brush.Note: Do not clean the baking stone with water anddetergents.50Fig. 466.
