If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electri-cian. Do not attempt to defeat the safety feature.4 If damaged, the power cord must be replaced by themanufacturer or an authorised service centre.Preparation:1. Remove the water tank cover (22) and fi ll the tank withcold water checking the level through the tank windowshown in FIG. 02.N.B.: The upper section of the tank (6) is provided with anoverfl owing safety hole (16) in case of tank overfi lling.The water tank can also be removed (FIG.02), afterremoving the tank cover (22).Re-install tank with water and cover (22).2. Insert plug (19) into a suitable wall outlet (see point 1under “Caution”).3. Press the main switch (1), the start light (3) will light up.The temperature light (5) will light up fi xed when therequired temperature is reached;Circuit PrimingN.B.: Upon first use, after dispensing steam or when thewater tank is empty, the machine’s water circuit mustalways be primed.This machine, featuring a pump to brew coffee, is equippedwith a self-priming system.Place an empty cup under the brewing head (14), do notinsert the fi lter holder and press the hot water/coffee switch(2) (“1 Pos.).You will hear the sound of the operating pump, and after a fewseconds, water will start flowing out of the brewing head (14).Warning! Before removing the water tank,make sure that the machine is off as not todamage the self-primer.When the cup is full,press again the hot water/coffee switch
