Messages and AlarmsThe Fishfinder 250/250C uses an on-screen alert message system.Press the ENTER key to acknowledge a message.Battery Alarm—The battery’s voltage has fallen below the valueentered in the Battery Alarm setup.Battery Voltage High—The input voltage is too high; the unit willshut off. You must lower the input voltage.Boat is not Moving Fast Enough to Calibrate—The boat is notmoving fast enough for the speed wheel to provide a valid speed.Can’t Send Waypoint—The unit was unable to transmit thewaypoint via the NMEA WPL sentence. Check the wiring.Can’t Read Voltages That High Limited To Top Of Range—TheVoltage value in the Battery Alarm setup is higher than the unit canread.Can’t Read Voltages That Low Limited To Bottom Of Range—The Voltage value in the Battery Alarm setup is lower than thevoltage where the unit automatically turns off.Deep Water Alarm—The Deep Water Alarm depth has beenreached.Drift Alarm—The water depth has changed by the amount enteredin the Drift Alarm setup.Fish Alarm—A fish is detected. The unit displays an icon and beeps(if enabled). (This alarm does not display a message banner.)Running Simulator—The unit is in Simulator mode. This messagereappears after 2 minutes of inactivity. (If the unit does not detect atransducer attached, it automatically enters Simulator mode.)Shallow Water Alarm—The Shallow Water Alarm depth has beenreached.Sonar Failed Unit Needs Repair—The unit has an internalproblem. Contact your dealer or Garmin Product Support to have theunit serviced.Timer Alarm—The Timer Alarm value has counted down to00:00:00.Transducer Disconnected Sonar Turned Off—The unit hasno transducer attached, has a bad cable/transducer, or has adisconnected transducer cable. If the transducer cable is removedwhile the unit is on, reconnect and cycle power.Water Speed Sensor is not Working—The speed sensor is notdetected.
