As the mixture is leaned, oneof the cylinders’ exhaust temperature will peak. Continuing to lean the mixturewill cause each additional cylinder to peak (if applicable) until the last of thecylinders peaks. To cancel Lean Assist Mode, touch Lean again. When the Lean is selected, the Lean Assist Mode waits for a cylinder’s EGT to reacha peak temperature and decrease by at least 7°F. The peak EGT for each cylinder isdisplayed as a small grey number above each bar on the graph. To prevent detectionof false peaks, the system waits for a cylinder’s EGT to increase by at least 15°F beforedetecting a peak. In addition, if the cylinder temperature rises above a previouslydetected peak by more than 100°F, the previous peak is considered false.A cylinder temperature bar graph is displayed if CHT/EGT data is configured on 4or more cylinders. A readout showing the temperature deviation from peak (DEGT) isdisplayed in place of the normal EGT temperature number. The temperature deviationof the first cylinder to peak is light blue. A light blue hollow triangle appears on theEGT gauge to represent the peak EGT for that cylinder.
