Forthe verification procedure, refer to the approved Airplane Flight Manual and/orInstructions for Continued Airworthiness for the independent power source.2.23 Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) ApplicationsClass 3 EFB applications have not been evaluated as part of this STC. Use ofthe system for EFB applications (such as the moving map or electronic charts)may require additional evaluation or operational approval.2.24 Surface OperationsDo not use SafeTaxi or Chartview functions as the basis for groundmaneuvering. SafeTaxi and Chartview functions do not comply with therequirements of AC 20-159 and are not qualified to be used as an airport movingmap display (AMMD). SafeTaxi and Chartview are to be used by the flightcrew to orient themselves on the airport surface to improve flight crewsituational awareness during ground operations.2.25 MFD Video DisplayVideo images displayed on the MFD are intended for use as an aid to situationalawareness only. Aircraft maneuvering based solely on the MFD video display isprohibited.
