3-1CHAPTER 3WAYPOINTSThe GPS 95 features a Jeppesen database providing Americas or Internationalnavigation information. (Refer to Section 1.2 for a specific description ofinformation provided in the database.) The database contains informationabout waypoints. A basic waypoint consists of an identifier (up to six lettersand/or numbers) and its location. You will have the opportunity to usewaypoints extensively while operating the GPS 95. For example, you canbuild a route using waypoints, you can perform trip/fuel planning usingwaypoints, and you can even calculate the time of sunrise and sunset for awaypoint of interest.The GPS 95 features four primary waypoint pages.
