Should youever encounter a problem with your unit, please take it to an authorized Garmindealer for repairs.The GPSMAP 176/176C is fastened shut with screws. Any attempt to open thecase to change or modify the unit in any way will void your warranty and mayresult in permanent damage to the equipment.FCC ComplianceThe GPSMAP 176/176C complies with Part 15 of the FCCinterference limits for Class B digital devices FOR HOME OROFFICE USE. These limits are designed to provide more reasonableprotection against harmful interference in a residential installation,and are more stringent than “outdoor” requirements.Operation of this device is subject to the following conditions: (1)This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this devicemust accept any interference received, including interference thatmay cause undesired operation.This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequencyenergy and may cause harmful interference to radio communicationsif not installed and used in accordance with the instructions. However,there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particularinstallation.
