Your positionis in the center of the screen, and the rings provide distance measurements.Radar - Cruising ScreenRange ringsHeading lineZoom scaleThe zoom scale represents the distance from your position (the center) to the outermost ring. Eachring represents an even division of the zoom scale. For example, if the zoom scale is set at threekilometers or miles, each ring represents one kilometer or mile from the center out. Adjust the zoomscale by using the RANGE (+/-) keys.Cruising screen settingsTo access additional settings or options for the radar cruising screen, press MENU.Gain—controls the sensitivity of the radar receiver. The default setting, Auto, adjusts automaticallyto provide optimal performance. You can also set the gain manually. When you select Gain, selectUp or Down (or use the RANGE or ROCKER keys) to manually adjust the gain. Select Auto toreturn the gain to the default setting.Select Rain Cltr to adjust the gain for unwanted clutter caused by rain at close ranges. SelectUp or Down (or use the RANGE or ROCKER keys) to adjust the rain clutter sensitivity.Select Sea Cltr to adjust the gain for clutter caused by choppy sea conditions. Select NxtPrset to cycle between Rough, Med, Calm, or Off. You can also select Up or Down (or usethe RANGE or ROCKER keys) to manually adjust the sea clutter sensitivity.••
