49GPSmap 60To customize the Map Page display:1. To access the Map Setup Pages, press the MENU key with theMap Page is displayed.2. Scroll down the Menu to the “Setup Map”option and then press ENTER to display theMap Setup Page. At the top of the page areicons for each setup page.3. Use the ROCKER switch to move from iconto icon when selecting a map setup page andto move up and down to the feature fields oneach page.4. With a Map Setup feature highlighted, press the ENTER key todisplay the list of options for that feature. Each Map Setup Pagehas a menu of general options. This menu can be accessed bypressing the MENU key with the page displayed.Using the Map Setup FeatureThe map display for your GPSmap 60 can be customized. A factoryset of default settings currently controls the Map Page display and maybe satisfactory for your current requirements. The Map Setup pages allowyou to determine how map features appear on the page by controllingmap orientation, text size, track display, map item display, detailed mapdata display and more. It is suggested that you wait until you are morefamiliar with the operation of your unit before deciding what features youwant to customize.Map SetupThe “General Settings” Map Setup PageMany of the Setup fea-tures use the same type ofoption lists; Off/On, Mostto Least, Small to Large, ascale from 20 feet to 500miles and a keypad fornumerical data entry.The Map SetupOptions Menuallows you to quicklyrestore map settings.GPS Navigation
