11Que for Palm OS - Applications GuideOVERVIEW >Finding Points of InterestThe amount of information available in the All Points of Interestcategory is so extensive it is divided into smaller categories to refineyour search.To use QueFind Points of Interest:1. Tap the QueFind icon to display the QueFindapplication.NOTE: The categories “Manmade Places” through “Tides”are specific to only certain types of detailed maps (other thanCity Select). These types of maps must be purchased separate-ly. Consult your Dealer or the Garmin web site (www.garmin.com) for information about map options.2. Tap the desired category to display the list of itemsin that category or the entry dialog for Addresses orIntersections.3. If you selected a category with a list, you are givena choice of displaying items by name or only thosenear your current location. You can further refineyour search by selecting a sub-category from the“All-Types” list.4. Tap the desired subject to display the refined list.5. With the list displayed, highlight a single Point ofInterest item.6. Tap Details to display an information page showinga location map and detailed information about theitem.7. After you have viewed details about a Find item,that item is added to the Recently Found Places listto simplify the process for reviewing. To review anitem, tap Recent Finds to display the list.Using WaypointsA waypoint is a location that has been saved, such as your homeor school. Any QueFind location can be saved as a waypoint.To learn specific information about saving a location as awaypoint, refer to the instructions on the following page.To find a waypoint using QueFind:1. Tap the QueFind icon, then tap the Waypoint iconto view the Waypoints List. To narrow the list, tapthe icon under the QueFind tab to display thosewaypoints nearest your location.2.
