T5TWINMOT- 7-354671 28Installation instructions for engineswap:• If the engine is not in the correct position for theinstallation, connect the plug and press the button 6on the hand switch. The motor will move into positionfor installation.• For security reasons again pull the plug from thesocket. For an easy installation, place the bed frameupside down so the steel pipes face upwards. Nowfirmly press the engine through the nail-shapedprojections until the tubes remain in the “u” form gap.• Make sure the symbol for the back on the engineshows to the head of the bed frame. At the T5 theholes in the top of the engine are closed on thetubes with sliding covers, which fit into the centerof the slot.• After completing the installation, check that theremote cable is properly plugged in and is strain-re-lieved (see drawing). Now place the slatted frame onthe bed frame and connect the plug, so the internalenergy storage can recharge itself.• Then place the battery.Emergency lowering:So you can leave the slatted frame in a reclining po-sition at power failure, the bed has special equipmentconnected to an integrated of 9-V alkaline battery,which is automatically activated when pressing thebutton 6. If the hand switch fails, the “coding” buttoncan be pressed on the engine. The download speedis reduced. Although the battery can hold severalemergency descents, we recommend changing aftereach descent, or after a maximum of three years, dueto the deterioration of the same.Hand switch (functions):1 – Back part up2 – Back part down3 – Foot part up4 – Foot part down5 – Foot and back part up6 – Foot and back part down7 – Light8 – Light ledSynchronization:Hand switch with the motor: Press the button“coding” on the motor and the 2, 3 and 6 buttonsall at once. A sound will be heard confirmingsynchronization.Hand switch with two engines: press the button“coding” located in each of the twomotors and buttons 2, 3 and 6 all atonce.
