31Battery Low Signals and ActionsThe battery icon changes appearance to display the current state of thebattery.BatteryIcon Battery Level DescriptionDischarging The icon shows the charge remaining in10-percent increments until the charge reachesthe low-battery level.Low The battery charge has reached the low-batterylevel (10% by default).Critically low The battery charge has reached the criticalbattery level (5% by default). By default,Windows will display a notification and putyour Tablet PC into Hibernation.When the battery is low, the Tablet PC’s Battery Charge Indicator ( ) alsoblinks red to alert you to take actions.Always respond to low-battery by connecting the AC adapter, placing yourTablet PC in Hibernation mode, or turning off the Tablet PC.Replacing the Battery PackCAUTION: There is danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced.Replace the battery only with the Tablet PC manufacturer’s batterypacks. Discard used batteries according to the dealer’s instructions.
